With an emphasis on social justice and practical learning, at Brighton Law School you will be supported in developing transferable skills. Based in a city famous for its inclusivity and championing positive changes in society and policy, you will have many opportunities to make an impact in the areas that matter to you.

Our International Law and Social Justice LLM has been specifically designed for those working in the justice, international trade, charity and not-for profit/non-governmental organisations (NGOs). This course, like our others has an emphasis on social justice, but our International Law and Social Justice LLM will also give you a deeper understanding of international human rights and the law of international trade.

During your course you will have many opportunities to apply law in practical situations, including free legal advice to members of the community, under the guidance of qualified solicitors, through our pro-bono Brighton Legal Clinic.

Please see our course page for fees

There are a number of scholarships and visas available for international students, please visit our website for more information.

As this course is recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board you will be in a good position to embark on a legal career upon graduating. But, good communication, problem-solving, analytical and research skills developed during your law degree are also relevant to many careers such as banking, insurance and Civil Service.

Our careers service is also available to you to help you achieve the career you want, right from your first day at university.
